Scott Capamaggio was home alone reading when the doorbell rang followed by a knock and in walked Scott's mother-in-law. Unconsciously, he closed his book and laid it on the floor to speak to her. Later, he found that he not had only lost his place, but also the paper bookmark that was supposed to have been keeping the page in his book. This gave him the idea to construct an automatic bookmark, to prevent him from ever losing his page again, even by accident. AppliedX helped Scott take this product to market on-line by providing him a marketing website and E-Commerce store front.
